Security System Installation Technician

We're looking for a skilled Security System Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll work on cutting-edge security technologies, deliver high-quality installations, and help protect our clients' people and property.

- Install, configure, and commission access control, CCTV, intercom, and integrated security systems.
- Work with leading platforms including Genetec, S2/Lenel, Software House, Exacq, Milestone, Gallagher, DSX, Bosch, and more.
- Install associated hardware, wiring, conduit, and electronic locking hardware.
- Represent BCM on job sites, attend coordination meetings, and maintain quality standards.
- Create and manage installation punch lists, document work performed, and complete thorough project handoffs to the service team.
- Collaborate with project managers, customers, and colleagues to ensure smooth installations.
- Support project change requests and change orders as needed.
- 3–5 years low voltage experience; 2+ years installing access control & CCTV systems.
- Massachusetts D License (or in process);
Rhode Island low voltage license a plus. - Proficiency with IP video and electronic access control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
Reports to Installation Manager
Salary Range: $40.00 to $50.00 + per hour, dependent on experience
