Job Overview
Position: HVAC/R Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm, Woburn, MA. Eligible for $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus.
Responsibilities- Work from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, sketches, operating manuals and verbal direction.
- Maintain, repair, and adjust oil/gas burners; annually clean heating boiler combustion chambers and flues.
- Diagnose and correct HVAC/R equipment malfunctions, including DDC and pneumatic controls.
- Maintain, repair, or replace compressors, pumps, motors, belts, pulleys, shives, bearings as required.
- Regulate and maintain climate control and manufacturing process needs of the facility.
- Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
- Calculate heating/cooling load and provide data for modifications.
- Retrieve materials and stock for assigned work.
- Maintain records, move materials, and follow safety rules.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET) or two (2) years of trade school experience.
- Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician’s license.
- Current #608 EPA Universal Certification.
- Good computer skills.
- Works well with others and is reliable, dependable.
- Available to travel and have reliable transportation for alternate center assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively and read/write safety procedures.
- Trade school experience.
- Union representation under collective bargaining agreement.
- Wage, workplace conditions, shift times subject to agreement.

Requires DoD Confidential clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
