Job Summary -

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Infrared Paving Foreman to lead a crew responsible for infrared asphalt repair operations. This role oversees daily jobsite activities, ensures quality work and safe practices, and coordinates materials, equipment, and labor to complete high-performance infrared patching and pavement restoration projects. The ideal candidate has strong asphalt knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage production while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities -

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the infrared paving crew
• Operate or oversee the use of infrared asphalt heaters, rollers, and related equipment
• Ensure proper prep, heating, blending, and compaction for seamless asphalt repairs
• Monitor repair quality and ensure finished patches meet job specifications
• Plan daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and manage crew productivity
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and truck logistics to and from job sites
• Maintain communication with project managers, clients, inspectors, and other trades as needed
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce PPE use and company safety policies
• Keep accurate records of labor, production quantities, materials used, and jobsite conditions
• Train and mentor crew members in proper infrared repair techniques and best practices
• Troubleshoot issues in the field and make adjustments as necessary to maintain workflow
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications -

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 2+ years of asphalt paving or infrared repair experience

• 1+ years of experience in a leadership or crew lead role preferred
• Strong working knowledge of infrared patching processes, compaction, and finishing
• Ability to read and understand job specs, work orders, and site layouts
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
• Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area
