Low Voltage Cable Technician - Woburn, MA

Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Cable Technician in Woburn, MA! Responsibilities
  • Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
  • Install data jacks, patch panels, racks, cabinets, cable tray, J-hooks, and ladder rack
  • Test installed cabling using Fluke or similar testing equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and cable layouts
  • Maintain clean cable management and professional installation standards
  • Work safely on ladders and lifts when required
  • Support structured cabling installations across a variety of commercial facilities
  • Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
Requirements
  • 1+ years of commercial structured cabling experience
  • Proficient pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 cable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Customer is unable to train basic cabling skills- candidates must be able to hit the ground running
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within approximately a 45-mile radius of Woburn
  • Flexibility to work varying start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM depending on project needs
  • Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots)
  • OSHA 10 is a plus
