Job Objective:
To ensure the highest quality of services to the people in our homes. All program participants will have a clean, safe and well decorated home in which to live while participating in an active, creative and supportive home environment. All staff are expected and supervised to provide services that place the individuals needs and safety first.
Essential
Skills:
To ensure the safety and well-being of the people who live in NuPath homes. Relief Staff should F/A and CPR certified (NuPath will provide the necessary training). Must be able to successfully relate, teach and further develop skills with the people served, engage positively with members of the household and their families, and to respect and implement the NuPath Mission. The person in this position must be able to verbally communicate in a polite, courteous and professional manner at all times, read, write and speak English, monitor the safety of all individuals and verbally present updates on individual status.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Understanding of the psychiatric, physical, social, emotional and educational needs of adults with developmental disabilities; good written and communication skills; valid US driver's license for a minimum of one year.
