Sr. Principal Program SW Protection Engineer Responsibilities
- Apply the latest technologies and be responsible for designing, implementing, debugging, and fixing problems with the Radar software applications.
- Implement real‑time software design and consider the performance implications of specific security implementations.
- Design the program protection solution to be integrated with the overall tactical radar software, with an understanding of the radar system "big picture" and be able to develop or review detailed solutions at the source code level.
- Enable Dev Sec Ops initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, implementing strategy.
- Create a product roadmap for the future and determine program direction.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Knowledge of modern computer architectures and hardware technologies.
- Experience with the Linux operating system.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Operating system knowledge.
- Experience with field‑programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and application‑specific integrated circuits (ASICs).
- Understanding and extending the Linux kernel via kernel modules.
- Experience with VxWorks or other real‑time operating systems.
- Experience with cryptography or its application.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl, and high‑level languages such as Java.
- Knowledge of alternative computer architectures such as MIPS, PPC, or ARM.
- Experience with Jenkins, CMake, Google Test, Google Protocol Buffers, GCC.
- Experience working on embedded systems, real‑time systems, and developing multithreaded applications.
