About Calidus locatie Verlengde Kerkweg Ondersteunende Diensten
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support a variety of activities for clients with intellectual disabilities and autism.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist on Wednesday mornings during cake-baking sessions with people with intellectual disabilities.
- Provide companionship and conversation for a volunteer in his 60s for a weekly chat, coffee or walk.
- Explain and play board games during the monthly adult board game afternoon for adults with autism.
- Motivate clients such as Marijke to walk to Buurtkamer Hoorn.
- Help deliver meals or errands to visitors and maintain a pleasant evening atmosphere.
This role also offers opportunities to develop communication and volunteer coordination skills.
We welcome all volunteers who are willing to help make a difference as a hostess or host for charities or associations.
