Job Title:
Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
Location:

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday – Field Based
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mobile AC Engineer to join a growing mobile contract covering sites across Surrey.
This is a field-based role working across multiple commercial properties, delivering high-quality HVAC maintenance, reactive works, and installation support. We are looking for a reliable and technically strong engineer who is comfortable working independently across a regional portfolio.
Your duties will include:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on a range of HVAC systems.
• Working on VRV/VRF systems, chillers, refrigeration plant, AHUs, cooling towers, and BMS-controlled equipment.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and minor installation works.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
• Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
• Travelling between multiple sites within Surrey.

Ideal Candidate:
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration as a minimum.
• C&GF-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
• Experience working on commercial HVAC systems including VRV/VRF, chillers, and AHUs.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills in a mobile environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional approach with good client-facing communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
Desirable (Not Essential):
• IOSH or NEBOSH health & safety qualifications.
• Legionella awareness (L8).
