Salary: £35,000 - 40,000+ per annum

An established property services contractor is looking for an experienced Roofer to join their growing team in Woking. This is a permanent role offering stability, varied work and the opportunity to work on a long term social housing maintenance contract.

The Role:

• Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance on residential properties

• Diagnose roofing defects and identify the most effective repair solutions

• Repair and maintain flat, tiled and slated roofs

• Complete associated minor works including carpentry, flashing, repointing and brickwork repairs

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents

• Participate in a call out rota as required

What We're Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent, or time served roofing experience within social housing

• Minimum 3 years roofing experience, ideally within the social housing or repairs sector

• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods and maintenance practices

• Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs right first time

• Self motivated with excellent problem solving skills

• Professional, reliable and customer focused approach

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence

• Willingness to undergo a DBS check

• Good understanding of health and safety regulations relating to roofing works

Desirable:

• PASMA and/or TETRA training

• Experience working within responsive maintenance contracts
