Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider
- Commercial Building – Woking - £21 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Woking.

CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer.

The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties, a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and experienceworkingwithin a healthcare environment.

Working within a team on-site, he or she will need to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance.

• £21per hour (umbrella)

• Painting & Decorating
• General fabric repairs
• Furniture moves porterage
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

• Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of most building fabric duties
• Good communication skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
