Position Summary
As an HVAC Program Coordinator, you'll help students build the skills to succeed in the HVAC industry and combine technical expertise, leadership, and passion for education.
Compensation$75,000 - $85,000 per year.

- Teach HVAC courses and provide hands‑on training in classroom and lab settings (minimum 20 teaching hours per week)
- Manage program operations, including scheduling, inventory, equipment, and classroom resources
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to maintain curriculum quality and student outcomes
- Share real‑world HVAC knowledge, safety practices, troubleshooting techniques, and industry best practices
- Help prepare students for licensing, certification, and employment opportunities
- Current Connecticut S1 or S2 license required (B2 combined with D2 also acceptable)
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a licensed HVAC Technician or similar role (apprenticeship experience not included)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and industry standards
- Ability to lead, mentor, and support faculty and students
- 3 years of classroom teaching experience at the post‑secondary level, not required.
- 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Experience developing training programs, mentoring employees, or leading teams
- Passion for workforce development and student success
