Position Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the daily organization, control, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and inventory supporting field technicians and operations across Connecticut. This role ensures inventory accuracy, job readiness, safety compliance, and efficient material flow.

This is a hands-on, accountability-driven role that directly impacts technician productivity, job completion, and cost control.

Inventory & Materials Management
  • Receive, label, organize, and store materials, parts, and equipment
  • Issue materials to technicians for scheduled and emergency jobs
  • Track inventory levels and report re-order needs
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Monitor high-value and controlled materials
  • Reduce shrinkage, loss, and job delays
Warehouse Operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
  • Stage materials for jobs, installs, and projects
  • Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and returns
  • Handle damaged or returned materials
  • Assist with truck stock replenishment
Tools, Equipment & Fleet Support
  • Issue and track company tools and equipment
  • Maintain tool sign-out logs
  • Coordinate tool repairs or replacements
  • Support fleet stocking and safety inspections
Systems & Compliance
  • Record inventory movement in company systems
  • Maintain documentation for inventory adjustments and transfers
  • Follow OSHA, DOT, and Connecticut safety standards
  • Comply with company policies and internal controls
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years warehouse or inventory experience
  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or skilled trades
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move materials safely
  • Basic computer proficiency - Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Field service or construction support experience
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience
  • Inventory audit experience
  • Knowledge of trade materials
