Description
Shipping / Receiving / Stock Clerk – WOL
Wolcott, IN
Dwyer Omega is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping / Receiving / Stock Clerk to join our Wolcott, IN team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for performing receiving, warehouse, and shipping duties for raw materials, parts, sub-assemblies, completed units, and supplies in accordance with established procedures.

- Verify incoming items against purchase or production orders; complete receiving documentation
- Use print files for identification as needed
- Count items using scales or hand count; note discrepancies or damage and notify leadership
- Pick orders for production or shipment to vendors and warehouse locations
- Prepare finished goods for shipment (apply protective fill, dunnage, tape, etc.)
- Load and unload trucks; complete and file required paperwork
- Perform periodic inventory checks and complete required documentation
- Label parts, cartons, and containers with required product and customer information
- Operate powered forklifts, hand trucks, and carts safely
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Enter and transmit data using computer systems and prepare basic reports as needed
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience- 3–6 months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or related environment preferred
- Ability to learn receiving, storage, and shipping systems within a short training period
- Comfortable working under direction with support available for unusual transactions
- Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, occasional 10-key use)
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk throughout the facility
- Ability to reach above shoulders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds
- Ability to push and pull carts or materials
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist motions
- Ability to operate hand and/or foot controls
