Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on leadership for all front‑of‑house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and service standards
- Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop front‑of‑house team members and supervisors
- Lead by example during service, actively supporting the team during peak periods and high‑volume shifts
- Foster a positive workplace culture built on accountability, teamwork, communication, and mutual respect
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, labour deployment, and performance management initiatives
- Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and customer concerns, responding professionally and proactively
- Oversee reservations, waitlists, and guest communications to maximize operational flow and guest satisfaction
- Support retail operations, inventory management, merchandising initiatives, and sales growth opportunities
- Collaborate closely with culinary, beverage, and leadership teams to ensure seamless day‑to‑day execution
- Assist with planning and executing events, promotions, and community engagement initiatives
- Monitor labour performance, operational efficiencies, and departmental budgets while maintaining service excellence
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and liquor regulations
- 3+ years of leadership experience within restaurants, hospitality, breweries, resorts, hotels, or other guest‑focused environments
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire hospitality teams
- Strong front‑of‑house operational experience with a genuine passion for service excellence
- A hands‑on leadership style with the ability to jump into service and support the team wherever needed
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and relationship‑building skills
- Experience with scheduling, labour management, inventory control, and daily restaurant operations
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and peak business periods
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance operational and administrative responsibilities
- Experience with retail operations, beverage programs, or hospitality‑driven merchandise sales is considered an asset
- Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and reporting tools
- Smart Serve (or equivalent) and Food Safety certifications are considered assets
- Competitive salary of $55,000 to $65,000
