If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional childcare, supporting a dedicated team, and helping lead a thriving setting, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Why This Role Is Special

This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to join a warm, energetic, and highly regarded nursery where you can truly make an impact. You’ll support the Nursery Manager in maintaining our high standards, championing best practice, and helping shape the future of our Wolverhampton setting.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Acting as Designated Officer in Charge when the Manager is absent
  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring staff across all base rooms
  • Promoting reflective practice and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are consistently upheld
  • Building strong, positive partnerships with families and external agencies
  • Assisting with recruitment, inductions, and ongoing staff development
What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from confident, caring, and proactive early years professionals who are excited to take on a leadership role. You’ll bring:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher)
  • At least 2 years’ post-qualifying experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience within early years
  • Strong organisational, communication, and safeguarding skills
  • A positive, flexible, and professional approach
  • Be part of a supportive, forward-thinking nursery
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and career development
  • A chance to make a meaningful impact on children’s early learning journey
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
Safeguarding Commitment

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in our care and expect all staff to share this commitment. As this role involves working with children, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. You must declare any convictions, including those normally considered ‘spent’. All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

  • Be part of a supportive, forward-thinking nursery
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and career development
  • A chance to make a meaningful impact on children’s early learning journey
