Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Location:

Wolverhampton
Salary:
Starting at £12.21 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Hours:

40 hours per week – flexible: either 4 long days (7.30am–6.00pm) or 5 days of 8-hour shifts

Contract:

Permanent
Holiday Allowance: 28 days per year (April 1 – March 31)

Overview
We are seeking a Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a small, family-run early years setting in Wolverhampton. This is a hands-on role, working directly with children and supporting the wider team. We are looking for someone passionate, enthusiastic, and creative, who can contribute new ideas while working towards shared nursery goals.

Experience with SEN children is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn, adaptability, and relevant nursery experience are key.

The Role
You will:

* Support children’s learning, play and development across the nursery

* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment

* Help implement child-led and structured activities

* Work collaboratively with the team to achieve nursery goals

What We’re Looking For

* Level 2 Childcare qualification or above

* Relevant nursery experience

* Passionate and enthusiastic about early years education

* Creative, flexible and willing to learn

* Team-focused and able to work collaboratively

* Experience with SEN children is desirable but not essential
