- the role combines direct care with leadership, mentoring, and modelling best practice within a therapeutic home.
Shift Pattern 2 days on, 4 days off rolling rota, including sleep-ins.
Shifts may include weekends and bank holidays.

- Make child-centred decisions and confidently challenge poor practice
- Remain vigilant to safeguarding concerns and promote children’s safety and wellbeing

- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Minimum one year’s experience working with children or young people
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children’s Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Safeguarding Ubuntu Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check with barred list, satisfactory references, and comprehensive safeguarding checks.
- Induction Process:
All applicants will be required to take part in a two-week induction to complete safer recruitment checks, mandatory training and shadow shifts prior to starting work in the homes. - This will be fully paid.
