£13.90 per hour | Full-Time | 40 hours per week

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, high‑quality Early Years team. If you’re ready to develop your leadership skills, support others and make a real impact, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career.

About the Role

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will work closely with the Room Leader, supporting high‑quality care and education across the room. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their skills, build confidence in leadership, and take the next step in their Early Years career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Room Leader in delivering outstanding Early Years provision
  • Act as a Key Person, building trusted relationships with children and families
  • Lead and support planning and delivery of engaging EYFS activities
  • Mentor and guide team members, students and apprentices
  • Maintain accurate observations, records and learning journeys
  • Promote a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
  • Contribute to Ofsted requirements and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with external professionals to support SEND needs
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a children’s day nursery
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child protection
  • Confident in supporting children with SEND
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support others
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional, child‑centred care
