Personal Assistant (COB

To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:

Our client is a delightful 9-year-old boy with autism and limited communication living in the Low Hill area of Wolverhampton who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 7.5 hours a fortnight alongside another PA who will be supporting our client’s twin brother.

Support to access the local community

Ensure client is always safe

Personal care: support with personal care when required.

Specific requirements:
Must have previous experience of working with children with Autism and complex needs. Must be a driver with own vehicle.

Hours of work: 7.5 hours per fortnight - Term Time Only

Rate of pay: £14.20 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience

Full UK driving licence

Car and appropriate insurance

Experience of working with children with Autism

Experience of working with children with complex needs

Confidentiality

Good at building relationships

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
