The position required: Nanny

Location: Chagford, Devon

Position start date: 01/10/2026 Flexible by a few days

Requirements: Full-time nanny

Duties: Nursery duties, Driving children, General tidying, Laundry and ironing, Grocery shopping

Nanny responsibility: The nanny will have sole charge

Preferred nanny attributes: Childcare qualifications, Ofsted registration, Childcare experience, DBS, Paediatric first aid training, Driver, Weaning experience, Available for babysitting and overtime, Non-smoker, Sleep training specialist, Potty training

• Feed and wind baby
• Clean, sterilise, and assemble bottles
• Come up with a daily activities to do with the baby
• Ensure baby hits development milestones
• Able to help baby with weaning
• Able to know how to handle baby during emergencies eg choking
• Laundry for baby
• Keep nursery tidy
• Know how to soothe baby, especially when gassy / has colic
• Know how to sleep train baby
• Know how to maintain existing routine as well as develop the routine as the baby gets older
• Be nurturing towards the baby, eg sing and talk to the baby
• Record and document feeds and wet nappies per day

Days of work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• Monday: 7am to 7pm
• Tuesday: 7am to 7pm
• Wednesday: 7am to 7pm
• Thursday: 7am to 7pm
• Friday: 7am to 7pm

Variation in hours: The hours remain the same all year round
