Electrician

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a commercial Electrician to work for the UK’s largest supermarket as part of their in-house property maintenance team.

• Location - Wolverhampton (and surrounding areas in the West Midlands).
• Salary - Up to £41,206/Yr.
  
  - £19.81ph - PAYE.
• Hours - 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday (Can be flexed for childcare etc).
• Weekends - 1-in-4 weekend shift (1.25x rate for Sunday).
• Overtime - Overtime is at 1.5x.

As a Maintenance Electrician, your duties will be but not limited to:

• Planned and reactive jobs around the office and store.
• Electrical repairs to the BMS, lighting and power systems, CCTV systems (bonus), single 3‑phase units, and circuits.
• General repairs around the store – fixing doors, replacing shelves, fitting new toilet holders, and performing fire alarm and emergency light testing.

• Company van and tools & uniform provided.
• Personal use of van at £60/month.
• Holiday starting at 25 days + a personal day (plus Bank holidays).
• Flexitime on hours.
• Colleague discount card, shopping, mobile, pharmacy etc. (after 3 months probation) – discounts on shopping and fuel at 10%, up to 50% off other services.
• Regular training and progression.
• Retirement plan – match 4‑7% of salary.
• Yearly bonus scheme – up to 10% of basic salary.

• Gold Card approved.
• 18th Edition.
• 2391 desirable.
• Full UK License (Max 6pts).
