Field Service Technician

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Field Service Technician to carry out both reactive and preventative service work—including installation, commissioning, certification, and maintenance of our product inspection and systems equipment.

• Maintenance & Verification
  :
  Carry out routine performance verification and preventative maintenance. Installation:
  Professionally install and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Breakdown Support
  :
  Diagnose and rectify equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimise customer downtime.
• Compliance
  :
  Promote audits, calibrations, and validation activities to ensure equipment meets industry standards.
• Performance & Admin
  :
  Meet established KPIs and ensure all administrative tasks, including record maintenance, are completed on time.
• Field Travel
  :
  Travel regularly to various customer sites to provide on‑site technical support.
• Stock Management
  :
  Manage and maintain your vehicle stock effectively to ensure high first‑time fix rates.

• Technical Background
  :
  An apprenticeship, degree, or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Problem Solver
  :
  Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Customer Focused
  : A professional and timely manner when handling customer queries and site visits.
• Organised
  :
  Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Communication
  :
  Clear verbal and written communication skills to keep customers and the Leicester office fully briefed.
• Mobility
  : A valid UK driving licence is essential, as this role requires travel to various customer locations.
