Location:

Birmingham / Wolverhampton / Midlands

Salary: £18 to £20 per hour, equivalent to £37,440 to £41,600 basic salary.

Overtime:
Time and a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays and bank holidays.

Package:
Door‑to‑door pay, company van, fuel card, tools, uniform, pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Full‑time, permanent.

HTL Windows & Doors is an established automatic door specialist, supporting customers with maintenance, repairs and compliance. Since 2002 the business has completed more than 30,000 maintenance services and 5,000 repairs.

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing automatic doors across customer sites.
• Planned maintenance, reactive callouts, fault diagnosis and repair work.
• Visit customer sites across the Midlands.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to reactive callouts and scheduled works.
• Complete electronic paperwork, portals and permits where needed.
• Liaise with office team to keep jobs moving smoothly.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
• Work in line with EN16005 regulations and Health & Safety procedures.

• Experience maintaining and repairing automatic doors.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• A reliable, professional and safety‑focused approach.
• Knowledge of EN16005 requirements.
• ADIA / ADSA BS7036 / EN16005 accreditation would be highly desirable.
• Installation experience useful but not essential.
