Electrician

Full-time position (40 hours a week). Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours work as required.

Location:

Coventry, Litchfield, Wolverhampton area.

Salary: £36k – £43k, depending on skills and qualifications.

Must have a valid driving licence.

The electrician will be responsible for performing electrical work related to maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and providing electrical engineering support. Successful candidate will perform daily duties as assigned by supervisors and complete all tasks with precision and excellence.

The successful candidate will work on commercial sites on various maintenance contracts. They will work alone and with teams on contracts that could include hospitals, pubs, schools, restaurants, hotels, banks, courthouses, etc.

• Electricity skills
• Skills in Electrical Work, including knowledge and practical application of electrical regulations and safety guidelines
• Skills in maintenance & repair, including knowledge and practical application of electrical systems
• Troubleshooting skills for identifying and correcting electrical issues using various instruments, tools and methods
• Skills in Electrical Engineering, including design and testing, willingness to learn
• Ability to handle physically demanding work and work at heights
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in the electrical industry preferred
• Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications required
• Must have knowledge of IT skills due to admin tasks that must be fulfilled weekly
