A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plumber's / Pipefitter's Mate to join a well-established M&E contractor on a busy project at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an immediate start on a well-organised healthcare project, working alongside experienced Pipe fitters and Plumbers on a variety of mechanical installation works.

• Working as part of the mechanical installation team, assist qualified Pipe fitters and Plumbers with a range of mechanical installation duties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support Pipe fitters with mechanical installations, installing bracketry and support systems.
• Assist with screwed steel pipework installations and general mechanical labouring duties.
• Measure, cut and prepare pipework; handle and distribute materials across site.
• Assist with plant room installations and keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Work from site drawings under the supervision of skilled operatives and ensure all work complies with site health and safety procedures.

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
• Previous experience as a Plumber's Mate or Pipefitter's Mate on commercial or healthcare projects.
• Experience assisting with mechanical installations.
• Own basic hand tools and full PPE.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude; ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 5:30pm
• Weekly Pay
