Slinger; Sizewell C

Main Duties

• Slinging and signalling for cranes, excavators, telehandlers, and other plant
• Attaching and detaching loads, ensuring secure lifting procedures are followed
• Communicating effectively with crane operators and site teams via hand signals or radio
• Coordinating safe lifting operations in line with lift plans and risk assessments
• Supporting general lifting operations across civils, earthworks, and structural works
• Carrying out pre-use inspections of lifting accessories
• Ensuring a safe working area during lifting activities and reporting any unsafe practices

• CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket (A40 or equivalent - all duties endorsement preferred)
• Valid CSCS card
• Safety-critical medical (or willingness to obtain)
• Right to work in the UK
• Full PPE
• Demonstrable experience in slinging/signalling on large construction or civils projects
• Familiarity with complex and high-risk lifting operations
• Experience working alongside mobile cranes, tower cranes, and telehandlers
• Clear communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple trades
• Understanding of lift plans, exclusion zones, and working under strict safety protocols
• Previous work on nuclear, rail, or other high-security/high-regulation sites desirable
• SC or BPSS clearance (or willingness to undergo vetting)
• IPAF, telehandler, or other plant tickets
• Multi-skilled (e.g. experience assisting with groundworks or logistics)
