gap technical is representing an established manufacturing business in the search for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Deeside.

• Promote and carry out preventative maintenance
• Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose
• Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard in accordance with work requests and pre‑determined specifications
• Overhaul, upkeep and repair of all plant machines
• Installation of new machines and equipment when required
• Actively promote safe working practices
• Review and advise on engineering requirements
• Work with and coordinate contractors as necessary
• Contribute to company objectives and values
• Adhere to company rules, health and safety and environmental standards and practices
• Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required
• Continuously look for improvements to the service and for effective good practice within the role

• Works well under pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Technical knowledge of food process equipment and wrapping machines
• Excellent understanding of how the machinery operated with
• Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Good interpersonal and management skills are an asset
• Welding/fabricating skills (desirable)
