Electrical Maintenance Technician

Monday to Friday DAYS (early finish on a Friday)

This role is working for a well-established manufacturing business, who have a phenomenal track record with quality and service awards. Our client is also open to seeing trainee candidates who have completed education or an apprenticeship and have attained 18 th edition electrical wiring regulations.

• Supporting the preventative and reactive maintenance function
• Working on small projects within the maintenance team
• Install, repair, calibrate and test all electrical equipment and instruments on-site
• Working to IEE wiring regs
• Working on single and 3 phase equipment, control circuits, VSD drives, motors and lighting
• Documenting all work carried out
• High voltage awareness, PAT Testing, Emergency lighting, CCTV, security and fire alarms, telephone and internet communication products
• Working on control systems and PLC
• Working on instruments such as pressure and temperature
• Installing data points for landline and internet

• Must have 17 th or 18 th edition electric qualifications
• Previous experience working on industrial electrics
• Knowledge of Siemens PLCs would be advantageous
• OR recent Apprentice or Electrical qualification graduate
• Chemical knowledge and awareness would be an advantage
• The right candidate will be eager to learn, a self-starter who is accountable
