People Solutions are seeking a highly skilled Steel Frame Erector for their client in the Wolverhampton area.
The role is to travel across the UK with the use of a company vehicle fully kitted out with all the tools needed for the Job.
Installing and erecting steel fabrications ,railings / gates Doors / windows with floor & roof installations up and down the UK.
we are looking for individuals with drive and passion to assemble products consistently and reliably as and when needed.
A conscientious and measured approach to the role is advantageous and definitely a pride in work.
power tools for steel and timber are used frequently so any experience in assembly / fabrication / installation / engineering / carpentry etc are beneficial.
there are aspects of heavy lifting / travel / overnight stays
Pay rate:£31,200 - £42,120
Working hours typically Monday to Friday- Days Benefits:

- Reviewing technical plans drafted by the Drawing Office
- Planning project assembly and installation.
- Cutting and manipulating steel & timber to suit each project
- Operating hand and power tools
- Installing and fixing together steel sections, Timber, beam sections to make a steel framework to suit each job.
- Using elevated work platforms and scissor lifts
- Installation of products ranges to bespoke specifications and sign off on completed works and tasks once completed.
- Ensure Lining up and levelling steelwork before Fixing in place
- Working on-site, Overnight and often at height.
- Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
- Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste & leaving a clean and tidy workplace
- Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.
- Good team worker
- Steel installation: 3 years (preferred)
- Working with timber: 3 years (preferred)
- Hands on / relevant skills: 3 years (preferred)
