We are looking for an experienced and skilled Service and Installation Engineer to join the team at Merridale, in Wolverhampton. You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our cutting-edge electronic fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites nationwide.
A Level 3 NVQ in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent) is desired. Additional training and support will be given but knowledge of the industry would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Installing, servicing, maintaining, calibrating, and upgrading fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites.
- Providing technical advice to customers and distributors, ensuring exceptional service both face-to-face and by telephone.
- Keeping detailed records of installations, service visits, work undertaken, and parts/stock used.
- Conducting site surveys as required.
- Assisting with the manufacturing of fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment.
- A Level 3 NVQ in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to a busy and demanding installation and service environment.
- Physically capable of attending customers' sites on a nationwide basis.
- Willingness to learn and apply electrical, mechanical, and technical principles relevant to our products.
- Clean driving license and willingness to work away from home occasionally.
- Availability for overtime and flexibility to occasionally work out of core hours.
- Full-time position (40 hours per week) with overtime opportunities.
- Competitive salary: £36,836.80 per annum (plus overtime, expected earnings of around £40k), depending on experience and qualifications, plus overtime.
