We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing specialist business looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their team in Wolverhampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Commercial Vehicle / HGV Technician looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position, competitive salary and regular overtime opportunities.
The successful candidate will work on a varied fleet of commercial vehicles, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance.
The Package- £48,000 to £50,000 basic salary
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30
- 45 hours per week
- Overtime paid at 1.5× hourly rate
- 20 days' annual leave + public holidays (28 days total)

Our client is a well-established specialist vehicle hire business with multiple depots across the UK.
The RoleAs an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining a diverse range of commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out vehicle inspections
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Repairing vehicle defects
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard
We are looking for an experienced HGV / Commercial Vehicle Technician who has a strong mechanical background and can confidently carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
Essential- HGV / Commercial Vehicle Mechanical qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or a full Main Dealership Apprenticeship
- Previous experience working with commercial vehicles / HGVs
- Full current UK driving licence
- Good mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair
