We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled HGV Technician to join their reputable dealership in the Wolverhampton area. This is an excellent HGV Technician opportunity for an experienced professional seeking a role in a well-equipped, professional environment with strong earning potential. The HGV technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring standards are met efficiently and safely.
Benefits:
Competitive salary, dependent on experience, with an OTE of £50,000 per annum
Working shifts: alternating between 6.30 am to 3.30 pm and 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday

Duties:
Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Complete vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and DVSA standards
Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Work efficiently on alternating shifts as part of a dedicated workshop team
Provide a high standard of customer service and technical support
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or relevant field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on HGVs preferred
Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to fault-find effectively
HGV Class 1 or 2 licence is desirable but not essential
Experience with main dealer services is advantageous
Right to work in the UK
