Early Childhood​/Jr. High Bilingual Paraprofessional

Bilingual Paraprofessional – Half time at our Early Childhood Facility - Half time at Wood Dale Jr. High

Candidate must have current Illinois Paraprofessional License and register with the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

• Implement classroom activities and lessons as directed by the classroom teacher; work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Provide targeted support to students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP), ensuring accommodations and modifications are properly met.
• Guide students in developing positive social, behavioral, and emotional skills through modeling, encouragement, and reinforcement.
• Assist with transitions between activities, help organize and prepare educational materials, and maintain a clean, orderly learning environment.
• Assist with the supervision of students both inside the classroom and during non‑instructional times, including gross motor time, hallways, and arrival/dismissal.
• Assist with preparing, maintaining, and updating student data.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with the classroom teacher, special education staff, and school administration regarding student progress or concerns.

• Experience working with special education students, preferred.

• Job Type: Full‑time
• Pay: $19.57 per hour – based on experience
• Benefits available after 90 day probationary period
