Position OverviewThe Tool Design Engineer for WDM prepares reports to the Engineering Designer Manager for WDM. Key responsibilities include leading design development and technical expertise across the product family.
Responsibilities- Lead designer on new product family development.
- Lead designer on multi‑di product development.
- Lead technical expertise on progress assessments of software (currently Deforum).
- Lead technical expertise for 3D design (currently Autodesk Inventor).
- The ideal candidate should have extensive tooling experience to optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Product family development.
- Performance of design form factor review.
- Design and development of product families.

- Provide strategic and tactical technical expertise on tooling and component development to support all development, production, and continuous improvement initiatives.
