Sun Metalon is seeking a talented Equipment Engineer to drive the continuous improvement of our advanced hardware systems. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for integrating complex mechanical assemblies, controls, sensors, robotics, actuators, and electronics to create highly efficient, reliable, and innovative production platforms.
This position requires hands‑on problem-solving, creativity, and a holistic engineering approach to deliver robust solutions to machine problems.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshooting and Problem-solving:
Address and resolve technical issues that arise during machine operation - Apply engineering principles and analytical methods to improve the performance, efficiency, and quality of the machine.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including production, R&D, and suppliers, to align design goals with practical execution.
- Conduct testing, inspections, audits, and detailed analysis to identify, correct, and prevent defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Support documentation efforts, ensuring clear and accurate records of SOPs, corrective maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting findings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands on experience in a manufacturing or other related facility.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works - preferred, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
