Start time: 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Laptop/Chromebook repair, part replacement, assembling and disassembling laptops.
- Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, and removal on assigned equipment.
- Performs troubleshooting and repairs or replaces equipment components as necessary on equipment and devices, not limited to Desktops, laptops, and Chromebooks.
- Power wash/ re-enroll devices, if needed.
- Support chrome-related help desk tickets assigned to resource.
- Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts.
- Able to provide desk side support in the isolation of problems and repair of Personal Computing Hardware, local software loads, file saves/restores.
- Completes technical training on new equipment as assigned.
- Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provides technical assistance to less experienced technicians.
- Complies with all company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Repetitive motion capability; good eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity sufficient to assemble units or small parts of; hearing correctable to within the normal range; detail oriented, and ability to work alone.
Position RequirementsREQUIRED: High school diploma.
PREFERRED: Two years of progressively responsible experience in repair, maintenance, and installation of laptops/desktop computers.
EXPERIENCE: No prior experience required but would prefer somebody who is tech savvy and has a strong interest in technology and has the ability to take apart and put together complicated electronics.
Additional Requirements: No requirements necessary, will train the right candidate on our processes and operating procedures.
Skill AtDiagnosing and repairing physical/hardware issues of Chromebooks and Computers; troubleshooting computer equipment requiring some precision, use of hand tools and small power tools; must be able to operate basic test equipment. Ability to maintain self-composure under occasionally heavy workload and stringent response times and deadlines. Ability to work independently, exercising initiative and judgment; making decisions within scope of assigned authority; assuming responsibility with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must.
