We’re seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships that drive efficiency, reduce risk, and deliver value for customers. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll influence global procurement strategies and work directly with cross‑functional teams to implement cost‑saving initiatives.
Location: Wood Dale, IL (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite)
Reports to: Global Procurement Director
What You’ll Do- Manage material spend of $15M–$25M
, ensuring cost optimization and supply continuity. - Develop and negotiate supplier contracts that minimize TCO and improve quality.
- Lead PPV/VAVE projects and cross‑functional workshops to identify savings opportunities.
- Drive working capital improvements through inventory reduction, lead time optimization, and innovative solutions like consignment and 3PL.
- Conduct RFQs, analyze quotes, and perform cost breakdowns to secure best commercial terms.
- Support manufacturing sites with supplier performance issues related to quality and delivery.
- Deliver measurable results aligned with KPIs and strategic goals.

- 1–3 years in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
- BS in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong project management skills and financial acumen.
