What You'll Do

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring international cargo moves efficiently across the globe. You'll work closely with customers, overseas partners, ocean carriers, and internal teams to keep shipments on track and deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Manage international ocean shipments from departure through final delivery.

+ Track and monitor cargo movement, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.

+ Maintain accurate shipment and transportation records in company systems.

+ Coordinate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

+ Communicate with overseas offices, customers, ocean carriers, and transportation providers.

+ Analyze shipment data and utilize Excel to manage daily workload and priorities.

+ Support billing accuracy and assist with customer reporting.

+ Follow established operating procedures and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and service.

+ Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer expectations are consistently met.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, International Business, or a related field.

+ Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

+ Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

+ Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

+ Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Internship or coursework related to supply chain, logistics, transportation, or international business.

+ Knowledge of import/export or ocean freight processes.

+ Hazardous Materials certification (preferred, not required).

+ Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Wood Dale, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
