Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international air export shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Prepare and process export documentation including MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings.
• Book cargo with airlines and negotiate schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, customers, truckers, and warehouses to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Track shipments proactively and provide customers with regular status updates.
• Ensure all shipments comply with TSA, IATA, and U.S. export regulations.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and service issues efficiently.
• Prepare customer invoices and verify carrier/vendor charges.
• Maintain accurate shipment records within the freight forwarding system.
• Build strong relationships with customers by providing a high level of service and support.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience handling international air export shipments within a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong knowledge of air export documentation and export compliance.
• Experience preparing AES filings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience using Cargo Wise is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
