We are looking to hire a CNC Lathe Setup Operator for a growing manufacturing company in Wood Dale. This is a hands‑on role focused entirely on CNC lathe setup and operation in a high‑precision environment. Ideal candidates have strong setup experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and adjust during production runs.

• Set up CNC lathes, including tooling, fixturing, and work holding
• Verify material alignment and ensure setup accuracy
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers
• Perform in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Adjust offsets for part consistency and quality
• Monitor equipment and address mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of setups and run logs
• Support a safe and clean work environment

• CNC Lathes
• Precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and running CNC lathes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills
• Proficiency with inspection tools
• Experience with metals and/or plastics
• Ability to work independently and solve mechanical issues
