Summary

As a CAD Drafter, you will be integral to the design and drafting processes within our organization, reporting directly to the Design Manager. Your core skills in CAD, schematics, and drafting will be essential in producing precise technical drawings and plans. Utilizing premium skills in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D, you will contribute to various projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Your relevant experience in construction and 2D animation will further enhance our team's capabilities, making you a vital asset in delivering high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate a CNC hot wire foam cutting machine to produce precise foam molds based on CAD designs.
  • Reference sketches and engineered drawings to visualize and fabricate foam tooling for molds.
  • Measure and inspect foam pieces to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment, following preventive maintenance routines.
  • Document production activities and communicate any irregularities or needs for repairs.
  • Adhere to safety and quality assurance processes at all times.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with CAD software for creating and modifying mold designs.
  • Experience operating CNC hot wire foam cutters, preferably in a manufacturing or mold-building environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
