Oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead production teams in delivering high-quality products safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, improving manufacturing processes, developing employees, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Production Operations
  • Lead and oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved
  • Coordinate workflow and production priorities while communicating operational performance to senior leadership
  • Identify production constraints and implement solutions to improve throughput and on-time delivery
  • Reduce manufacturing lead times, work-in-process inventory, material scrap, and labor waste through continuous process improvements
  • Support the evaluation and selection of manufacturing equipment to improve efficiency and productivity
Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors, group leaders, and manufacturing employees
  • Manage employee performance, including reviews, training, disciplinary actions, and other personnel matters
  • Foster a positive, accountable work environment that encourages employee engagement and continuous improvement
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure products are manufactured to meet company quality standards and customer expectations
  • Maintain a safe work environment by promoting OSHA compliance and established safety practices
  • Administer company policies, procedures, and compliance programs
  • Partner with Engineering to support product and process improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance, efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in production management within a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams
  • Broad understanding of manufacturing operations and overall business functions
