Inside Sales Representative

The ideal candidate for our inside sales team is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our inside sales team members work weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. onsite at IKO International's headquarters in Wood Dale, IL. Inside Sales Representatives are our company's passionate frontline customer service specialists, performing account management functions to fulfill customers' objectives. You must be comfortable responding to dozens of customer inquiries through email and via phone, identifying product solutions for customers, working independently and as part of a team, prospecting for new business, generating and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing accounts
• Offer proactive support, build and maintain relationships with key personnel at assigned clients
• Negotiate prices and terms of contracts with clients, as appropriate.
• Use SAP to enter and invoice; file sales orders at end of cycle
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
• Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
• Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management
• Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of inside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and sales career experience
• SAP, Salesforce CRM, and industrial sales experience are a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
