Building Maintenance Technician 3 (5-7 years)

Our client, a leading organization in building management and facilities services, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician 3 (5-7 years) to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician 3 (5-7 years), you will be part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Wood Dale, IL

Pay Range: $28 - 30/hr.

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate such hazards
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
• EPA certification is a plus
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently
