Facilities Maintenance Associate

Conduct maintenance, repairs, and upkeep for Eleven
22 Retreat Center assets, including but not limited to the golf course, land and marine vehicles, tools, equipment, ground maintenance machinery, cabins, buildings, ponds, spa, pool, docks, boat slips, and landscape, while aligning with The Retreat Center LLC.'s vision of being a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Ensure efficient execution of all systems and schedules for the Retreat Center Facility Maintenance Ministry.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and disciple the facility maintenance staff.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repairs for all mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety systems.
• Perform building repairs and remodels as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations.
• Recruit, serve, and support staff and volunteers.
• Support all retreats, encounters, and onsite meetings as needed.
• Be prepared to share the gospel with guests when opportunities arise.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

• Possess strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of relevant work experience.
• Five years of experience operating heavy equipment and machinery.
• Five years of experience managing multiple employees/volunteers.

This is a full-time position with typical hours Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. Work hours may vary during scheduled events and gatherings, including weekends and after hours. Flexibility is required.

Outdoor environment on 3,500 acres of South Georgia coastal woodlands, including waterways, swamps, and forests. Encounters with wildlife are common.

Requires outdoor physical labor in varying climates, including climbing ladders, walking on elevated surfaces, maneuvering motorized water vessels, and navigating dense vegetation.
