Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Provide housekeeping services to ensure the cleanliness of all cabins, guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of The Retreat Center, while aligning with The Retreat Center LLC's vision of being a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Use proper cleaning chemicals following OSHA regulations and The Retreat Center procedures.
• Vacuum, sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using appropriate equipment.
• Make beds and replace linens in guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Clean assigned rooms based on priority and update the daily checklist.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and stairways.
• Transport cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens to work areas and guest rooms securely.
• Restock and organize cleaning carts, closets, and shelves as needed.
• Properly dispose of trash and waste.
• Perform dusting, shower/tub cleaning, toilet cleaning, kitchen cleaning, and run dishwashers.
• Ensure the security of keys and report lost items to the Coordinator.
• Perform any additional duties as required.

• 3-5 years of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to organize multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and courtesy in duties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and ability to learn new software.

This is a full-time position with standard hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Flexibility is required to accommodate events, weekends, and after-hours work.

Operates in a professional setting with exposure to industry-standard cleaning products and occasional outdoor environments on 3,500 acres, including wildlife encounters.

Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with exposure to extreme weather conditions.
