Our client, a large national manufacturing organization in Woodbridge, with operations in all 50 states, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Supervisor to join its Corporate Tax team. This highly visible hybrid role offers the opportunity to take ownership of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities while working closely with business leaders across the organization.
As part of a lean and collaborative tax department, you will gain broad exposure to both domestic and international tax matters, contribute to strategic tax initiatives, and play a key role in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies. The position may be hired at either the Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Supervisor level depending on experience, technical expertise, and leadership capability.
Responsibilities Include:
• Prepare complex U.S. federal and multi-state income tax returns, including supporting schedules, work papers, and technical research.
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions and related tax reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly cash tax forecasts and assist with tax planning initiatives.
• Research, identify, and resolve tax issues while recommending process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Assist with federal, state, and local tax audits, including responding to information requests and preparing supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with changing tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Support special projects involving domestic and international tax matters.
