Training:
Jiffy Lube offers comprehensive training through Jiffy Lube University, including potential for ASE accreditation and hands on training.

A Jiffy Lube Service Technician primarily performs oil changes and routine preventative maintenance on vehicles. This includes tasks like servicing fluids and filters, conducting visual inspections, and performing minor services like bulb and wiper replacements. They also work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, often interacting with customers to explain services and recommendations.

• Signature Service Oil Change:
  Draining oil, replacing filters, and ensuring proper fluid levels.
• Preventative Maintenance:
  Servicing filters, light bulbs, wipers, and tire rotations.
• Fluid Services:
  Flushing and filling coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and other vital fluids.
• Inspections:
  Conducting visual inspections of vehicles, including checking for leaks and safety issues.
• Customer Interaction:
  Explaining services, answering questions, and providing recommendations for vehicle maintenance.
• Shop Maintenance:
  Maintaining tools, equipment, and the overall cleanliness of the service center.

While experience is preferred, it is not necessary.

The ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs, and the physical agility to bend, twist, lift, and move as needed.

Proficiency in operating various equipment like oil and grease guns, transmission machines, and other service equipment.

The ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide a positive service experience.
