Senior MEP Superintendent

Structure Tone, part of the STO Building Group, is looking to hire an experienced Senior MEP Superintendent to support our projects in the New Jersey region. The Superintendent is responsible for timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

• Prepare the project schedule and maintain accurate status reports.
• Coordinate field work efficiently, ensuring quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Review status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives regularly; large projects may involve multiple superintendents.
• Ensure safety standards are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others operating tools and equipment.
• Direct sub‑contractor activities within ground‑up construction projects.
• Analyze manpower, material, equipment requirements and interface these with others as designated by the supervising superintendent.
• Implement and enforce policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
• Coordinate Lock‑out Tag‑out with responsible subcontractors for utilities such as Nitrogen, Vacuum, Compressed Air, RODI, and Steam.
• Manage QA/QC and understand client engineering specifications or requirements.
• Prepare reports and forecasts as required, and keep supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities.

• 5+ years of field experience.
• Some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.
