We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team, focusing on expanding our portfolio in Middlesex County, NJ. This onsite position is immediately available in Woodbridge, New Jersey, making proximity to the area advantageous.
The ideal candidate will possess 7-10 years of general construction experience. Experience in multifamily construction is a plus.
Able to effectively lead all trades throughout the project lifecycle with an owner’s perspective and be comfortable using technology and have at least a working knowledge of the construction software Pro Core.
Key responsibilities include supervising trade subcontractors, managing project schedules, liaising with project consultants to ensure adherence to plans and specifications, maintaining regular communication with the project manager, coordinating inspections with municipal officials, reviewing shop drawings, and managing change orders. The Superintendent should demonstrate both independent work and collaborative teamwork. We're seeking a motivated, energetic, and highly organized communicator with a strong passion for construction.
Competitive compensation will be offered based on experience.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion.

- Ability to read construction documents

- Familiarity with regulatory NJ construction standards
- A working knowledge of Pro Core
- Experience working for developer/owner is a plus.
